About ISWAR
ISWAR means Institute Social Welfare Action & Research is a charitable organization and religious organization which was established in the year 1991. ISWAR illuminates the a world with the blessing of supreme lord Shiva (ISWAR) who creates, protects, and transforms the whole universe and believes that the suffering of the poor, the diseased, the disabled, the disaster effected, the displaced, unprivileged, disadvantaged, helpless, the destitute and other vulnerable people can be mitigated The basic needs of the people regarding food, shelter, clothing, education and health care can be fulfilled by his wishes and the several issues relating to health, welfare, disaster, violence, livelihood, environment and spirituality can be resolved. ISWAR implements various social programs with devotion lord Shiva and dedicated to common people with objective of transferring whole India in to a better place like heaven where all the country have plenty of opportunities and the people can enjoy life and stay happily without any problems.
Objective
We want to deliver high quality, safe and effective cancer care and health services as well as innovative and integrated care close to home to the poor, destitute, disables, women which meets both individual and community needs and supports and improves wellbeing, social welfare and development for all.
Vision
We want to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire
millions of others to do the same. There are approximately 2.0 million people living with cancer in the India today, we want to make sure we can provide support to everyone whoneeds it, to help people affected by cancer feel more in control of their lives.
Mission
We want educate and aware all people in India on cancer knowledge and information and help the poor and disabled to obtain the cancer treatment and and help them in all respects to live life peacefully. We create world-class cancer services for the people in the India by providing them life-changing care and support.

MY GENESIS
Many people dream of helping children in vulnerable situations, but few are motivated enough to pursue this dream. One such gentleman who followed his desire to help the poor children is Tapan Kumar Rout the founder of ISWAR.Born and raised in Odisha a state in India Tapan Kumar Rout often saw young children
suffer from acute poverty. They were deprived of basic needs such as food, shelter clothing, education and health care and could not be supported by their parents and were forced to migrate to cities to serve as domestic servants and were exploited as child labour.
This left a significant impact on Tappan Kumar Rout who was then pursuing his degree in commerce. After completing his graduation, he started working for these underprivileged children rather than settling with corporate job. One night he received a divine direction
who blessed and bestowed on me with truth, peace and resolution to start an NGO in name of ISWAR (Institute for Social Welfare Action & Research) to spread his messages and serve the poor by fulfilling their basic needs and human rights. Then the divine order
was followed and people established this organization in the year 1989 in Odisha and started working in a small village of Orissa and .later it was registered in year 1991. The founder has served here for more than 30 years and was an integral part of the core
team for the service of mankind.
OUR BELIEFS
ISWAR believes that the members of the civil society shall involve proactively in the process of development, after which the sustainable change will happen. Believing in this principle, ISWAR appeals the civil society in order to make them partners in its mission.
OUR APPROCH
ISWAR realized that the problems and conducted the research to know the intensity. It prepared its policy for strategic solutions. All problems are equally important and should be resolved fast. However, cancer care and treatment and health of children is of priority.
Poverty eradication is possible by providing food, shelter, clothing, education and livelihood to the poor people to the children, women and families. Moreover, when an elder sibling is educated and relevantly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the
journey of empowerment and human rights are fulfilled, the better life continues beyond the present generation.
ISWAR extended its thematic areas of intervention by supporting for health care, disability, and poverty eradication, violence on women, disaster, human rights and environment. Children, their families and the community become the target group for ISWAR’s activities as problems cannot be done in isolation and nothing else but solutions to the problem can bring long lasting change in the society.
MANAGEMENT
Credibility and accountability have always been the bench mark for ISWAR and are achieved through the promotion of principles of good governance in the processes and practices. ISWAR has a four-tier audit and evaluation mechanism to ensure impact of investment and complete transparency and accountability in utilisation of funds. This four-tier audit mechanism reviews programmes and projects, internal operations, compliance of statutory norms and conducts an external evaluation for the impact and outcome of various development programmes. The entire management processes and practices of ISWAR are in compliance with the principles of good governance.
